Hate to be the one to bring the negativity he also missed the
most obvious hand ball despite having a clear view and the ball
       travelling some distance.[/quote]
Is that all he missed? I'm sure you will find that is a
probability that every Referee would miss something, depending
on how you see this as big or small impact on the match.
Some people love the whole negative headline everyday, some of
just want abit of good news. I noticed the negative comments
already on appointments page. For example, may I remind
everyone that Gavin Ward has been a SG2 since 2018, so surely he
must be doing something right to still be up there. Yeah, he is
not flamboyant and does not look like someone you would have
your beer with, but he has his own way. One thing most Referee
would tell you is that the view of players, coaches, clubs and
their fans are 99% different from observation that deals with
       interpretation of law.
At most, few people on here would pick one incident or maximum
of two, and concluded that the Referee had a poor match.
The world is depressing enough, so some of us just like few good
       news now and then.

Didn't get to watch the full match as I was in bed ill, here is
the link to the incident - This thread is for some good
performance. This missed obvious hand ball can be discussed on
       another thread. Thank you

The Lyon manager Paulo Fonesca has been suspended for a total of
9 months because of his actions. Fully deserved long ban. Not
allowed back on the touch line until November.

Perfect grounds for Lyon to sack him for gross misconduct.
