       I am not an avid student of women's football and its officiating
       but from what I have seen I always thought Cheryl Foster was
       pretty much in a class of her own and certainly vastly superior
       to the American referee whom the authorities seemed to favour at
       the Women's World Cup. Congratulations to Ms Foster on her
       distinguished officiating career and all the best in her new
       responsibilities.

       I first became aware of her as a Liverpool player when staying
       at her parents' B & B in Llandudno about twenty years ago. It's
       been good to see her considerable progress since then and even
       better that it's continuing.
