Wow, sounds like a really terrible injury. Hope he recovers
quickly

It sounded awful and i can easily remember the sound right now.
It definitely affected the mindset of the Crewe players though,
you could clearly tell they weren’t right. Tough evening for all
involved on the Crewe side - the result, and the injury.

Ryanellis, agree the injury to Shilow Tracey looks horrific and
share the hope that he is able to make a full recovery. I don't
think Danny Mayor the Fleetwood player is known for challenges
of this ilk, but on a football forum I read, there was a feeling
from Crewe fans that the force and lack of control going into
the challenge, took it outside the unfortunate accident
category. Think I have some sympathy with that viewpoint. With
regard to the second Fleetwood goal, there is more than a hint
of offside from the camera footage.
Ben Speedie has not impressed the couple of times I've seen him
in the middle for a Tranmere game. Think it was v Doncaster
where he gave YCs to a couple of our players in the opening
quarter of an hour for minor fouls and it felt like our players
were walking on eggshells and afraid to tackle after that.

Greg Rollason sounded like he had a reasonable game at Grimsby,
mostly erring on the side of leniency. The Grimsby penalty
looked correct, although unfortunate for Turnbull in that a poor
pitch caused him to lose his footing.
However one of the ARs Richard Wrigglesworth or Bradley Hall
will be having the odd sleepless night after failing to award a
Rovers goal where the ball was well over the goal-line. Mr
Rollason was in a position to see the incident but probably not
confident enough to over-rule the better-placed AR. Fortunately
Rovers played to the whistle and about 30 seconds later, the
ball had unequivocally crossed the line and nestled in the net.
