Lengthy check for a couple of possible offsides during the
       opening goal.
Got the correct decision eventually though in my opinion.

Why has the pen gone to review?
       Was definitely a shirt pull

I’ve always said Donohue is the weakest of the VAR and this is
       the icing on the cake.
It has to be a penalty for the shirt pull on Ashley Young, how
VAR can come in and say it was a clear and obvious error is
       baffling.
Very poor from Madley to succumb to the VAR and change his mind.

That's an awful decision from Donohue, no way that should have
went to review as wasnt clear and obviously wrong.
Send Donohue back to the Championship, he's not ready
I dont support either team fwiw

Disagree.looked a clear pull onfield but the replays showed
young was diving before there’s any touch and it was very
       minimal.
Madley better today than last few weeks

I don't agree with everyone. Young flopped like a fish onto the
ground. Way too soft. A good strong intervention from Donohue
       who must be praised

Comms will be interesting, Madley was at the monitor for a long
time so i don't think he was sure.
Its basically re-refereeing the game from Donohue as was a clear
shirt pull so should have been left on field either way.

I agree with Adam and magpie that it probably should have been
       left at refs call though.

On first re-showing I thought penalty but the more I saw it, the
less convinced I was. It did look as if Young went down in the
same way as Maguire did for United. United I had 4 penalty
appeals as I recall but 3 could be dismissed easily. There was
one - I think the first - that could have been given.
As for Mr Madley, I was slightly confused as to what was, or
wasn't, a YC, but ok otherwise. Young must have come mighty
close to getting a second YC at the end of the game for going on
and on at Madley. perhaps he was polite about it!

I am very surprised there was an intervention, but I can't say
that I think it was wrong. The rules and guidelines on pulling
are very clear, a pull which is both very brief and with hardly
any impact should never result in a foul. This was exactly that.
Going to be interesting to see how Webb and PGMOL views it, but
I wouldn't be surprised if they actually think the intervention
       was correct
