       Fair to say Dave is a far better referee than he is a
       cricketer...!
       If you're getting appointed to Sheff Utd v Leeds you're arguably
       performing better than a few SG1's.
       Unfortunately, we never get to see him plying his trade at the
       SoL.

       Well it appears my view on Mr Joyce isn’t shared by anybody
       else! Perhaps I’ve just been fortunate to catch him on multiple
       (very) good days. Admittedly he did make an error in both
       playoff finals he was in the middle for which has probably
       tarnished his wider reputation
