       SG1 Assistants in the middle for PL2 Matches

       Does anyone know why Nick Hopton, Tim Wood and Neil Davies are
       all in the middle for various PL2 matches this weekend?
       Southampton vs Sunderland - Tim Wood (Fri)
       Stoke vs Liverpool - Nick Hopton (Fri)
       Brighton vs Aston Villa - Neil Davies (Sun)
       I can't seem to figure out why at all, it's quite interesting.

       Given the spate of injuries occurring lately, maybe it's in case
       one of them ends up having to take over as referee? Or (slightly
       less tongue in cheek) maybe they're looking to switch to
       refereeing next season instead of lining, and they're doing a
       few games to get back into it? Or they were just short of
       officials to do those games?

       All good suggestions from ARF. Interestingly (or not) Davies and
       Hopton have also been a main/lead VAR this season so wonder if
       that's something to do with it too.
