Robert Jones for us, lets hope we rid the curse of never
winning when he is in charge of us!
No surprise to see Taylor at the Etihad, and a decent game for
Gillett at Spurs.
Bankes with his fourth match, Robinson back at Ipswich and JJ
gets to reclaim his gold plated parking space at the Vitalty,
although it really should be a yacht from the IOW.
Another match for Sam Lewis, suggests that may be in line for
SG1 next season if we lose any assistants?

Really interesting set of appointments - no sign of Brooks, his
usual pair of assistants (Bennett and Robathan) are with Pawson
at the weekend, then reuniting with Kavanagh midweek.
Sian Massey-Ellis is back on the line in the Premier League for
the first time since April last year.
Anthony Taylor gets the obvious big match of the weekend round,
with Gillett's being significant for Europe/Champions League
positions.
In the midweek round, Kavanagh's match stands out, and Madley's
match is also significant. Gillett's match has one of the so
called 'big 6' matches - though Tottenham's form wouldn't
suggest it is.
Oliver, Madley and Gillett are all on double duty.

Wouldn't say Robinson is the most liked official to referee
Ipswich this season after the game against Leicester, but
hopefully a time to redeem himself among the fanbase. All other
appointments from GW26 are fine in my eyes! John Brooks possibly
another casualty from the weekend?
A great VAR appointment for Donohue in GW27. Hopefully he can
get some on-field refereeing appointments for the PL towards the
last few weeks of the season. Hallam with another appointment
on the boards, great to see for an official with alot of
potential, alongside Finnie in GW26.

Everyone getting a game over the period apart from Brooks I
think.
Good couple of games for Gillett.
Kavanagh and Madley also picking up tasty looking games.
Seems a while since we've had a trial game for a SG2 or NL ref.

I hope Michael Oliver is someone who likes to keep busy! After
all the recent controversy one might think he is entitled to a
few days off, so I hope these appointments are not unwelcome to
him. Of course, this is his job and the PGMOL can appoint him
however they see fit, I just hope they are using their
discretion lightly.
I see Craig Pawson is VAR on Friday, refereeing in London on
Saturday, then VAR again on Tuesday and Wednesday. From memory
Mr. Pawson doesn't reside near London, in a case like this will
he stay in a hotel on Friday and then again on Tuesday night? I
don't keep a close eye on VAR appointments but this just struck
me as a potentially a lot of travel.

Plus dont forget to add Pawson is at Villa park tomorrow night
too.
Royalty at Villa Park on Sat followed by Junior royalty Tue at
Palace, the latter with Robinsons assistants.
Jones will have a week to get his Orange shirt washed.
