I thought that Stuart Attwell was really good in this fast paced
match. He was always on top of things and dealt with the stupid
handbags with Isodor and Rodon, although he probably should have
cautioned Rodon as well. He was very close to that incident and
we do not know what was said and it could well have been
relevant to the caution issued.
Sunderland will be kicking themselves for not getting anything
from the game. They were under the cosh once Leeds scored the
equaliser and they were tiring quickly after a lot of defensive
work in the second half and the goal gave Leeds a lift.
Enjoyable game for the neutral and helped by the officials'
contribution to try to let the game flow.

Apparently Hackett has suggested that one of the leeds players
might face punishment for inciteful celebrations, I was too
disappointed so didn't really watch the celebrations and don't
want to watch that part back.
Clearly the only fair outcome here is to reverse the result and
dock points from leeds, burnley and sheffield united 😀
