T BRAMALL - Fulham v Forest

Bramall hasn’t really had much to do in the first half. No real
talking points and has let an entertaining contest progress
without interference.

An accomplished performance this afternoon. Always felt he had
control and a clean sheet added to this.
Can’t really think of anything he got wrong and stayed in the
background.
Can we have officials in yellow every week please!

I'd send you to the naughty step but it's rather busy this
evening!

Perhaps I should start reporting on the post match travel
journey like our esteemed and learn’d contributor JCFC does in
exemplary language.
Suffice it to say, it’s not been a good journey back given the
shambles on Thameslink, Southern and Gatwick express this
evening!
Luckily some creative journey tinkering saved a good two hours
getting home!

Come on TTFL, give us the details! You never know, I might find
the information helpful one day.

As there were no direct Eastbourne trains all weekend to and
from Victoria, it was going to be a trek to London Bridge,
however I saw the chaos unfolding on my train app so decided to
go to Victoria and use the Gatwick Express and change at
Haywards Heath for Eastbourne.
Low and behold, train cancelled at Victoria so had to jump on a
rather cosy Littlehampton service. Plan was then to change at
East Croydon to get a seat and pick up the already snookered
main line service to Eastbourne.
I then noticed the service behind which I was going to catch
from East Croydon to Eastbourne was non stopping at East
Croydon, which I’m sure would have peeved off a lot of punters
waiting for that train.
So we remained on board, got to Haywards Heath, and had to wait
another thirty minutes as the already late Eastbourne train then
fell victim to a police investigation on the Thameslink service
in front of it.
It eventually resumed and trundled into Haywards Heath.
After that, it was a breeze.
The Thameslink service was obliterated which really didn’t help!
Advice… never use Thameslink!

Just to add that I would be very happy to see Bramall appointed
to us again this season. One of the slickest and polished
performances we’ve seen at Fulham this season.
