That is an incredibly soft foul by yoro and imo defo enough for
a intervention

If those are given then this game should set a record for free
kicks

Trouble is VAR won’t come in and recommend a review as it wasn’t
a clear and obvious error by the officials, soft as it may be.
Aside from that… why are they in yellow!?

Is the bar as high in champions league as the prem?

I thought Lambrechts was poor tonight… some really odd decisions
and despite the lack of cards, I felt that he really didn’t
inspire that much confidence in how he read certain situations.
A couple of clear fouls for Rangers which weren’t given, and the
chalked off Man U goal as discussed was very harsh.

It has to be a clear and obvious error for VAR to recommend a
review. This was definitely "soft", but can't be a clear and
obvious error as there was definitely a push, albeit minor. No
way VAR is getting involved in that in any competition.

I like Lambrechts style , lets the game flow a couple of missed
Fk’s for Rangers and soft decision for the foul by Yoro ( almost
given everytime in Europe ) but goal would have stood in the PL
but he stayed in the background

Agree with TTFL lambrechts didn’t inspire much confidence atall
tonight.a few fouls missed for rangers and atleat 3 extremely
harsh defensive free kicks at corners

In which case the Rangers goal should also have been disallowed
as Dessers gave Maguire a push in the back, albeit minor.

Very different as the referee didn't penalise that one, but the
same principle applies. Neither decision were anywhere even
close enough to be considered clear and obvious errors, so VAR
would have checked and very quickly cleared them.
