       Had a brief but lovely chat with Mike this afternoon. He was
       alongside the assessor, who I recognised but couldn't place the
       name (Help!). Spoke of his fondness for the South West and his
       future aims of becoming an assessor possibly.

       Think he'd be fantastic at it.  Would love to see him
       coaching/mentoring youngsters as well.  He once bought a gift
       down to AFCB on the off chance that bmb junior went and said
       hello to him. FIFA fair play badge or something, we'd never met
       him but bmb jr had posted some good luck messages & pictures to
       Howard Webb & his team ahead of one tournament they were on,
       Euro's or WC, can't remember which and he arrived at the game
       post tournament with a little thank you for his support gift in
       hand & spent an age chatting to him after the game. Came across
       as a lovely guy.

       He is a lovely guy, from a refereeing family. Had the pleasure
       of working with him 20 odd years ago. Was so pleased to see him
       do well
