Another good performance from Brooks, was hardly noticed and
can’t argue with any of his decisions this evening.
No need for VAR to get Brooks to announce anything with the
trial in place. We wait with bated breath for tomorrow.

I honestly think he is right up there as the best there is in
the Premier League at the moment. Rarely gets anything wrong
and has an approachable, but almost aloof approach to the
players, he'll talk to them but there doesn't appear to be any
attempt to be pally with them like there is with some other
       referees.

Totally agree with this. I have been very impressed with the
trajectory he is on. He seems like such a constant, safe pair of
hands and one I always look forward to watching in the early
       hours out here.

It’s been said for the last 12 months that he will be the heir
to Taylor in elite and he’s showing it more and more every game
       he refs.

John brooks was excellent …. It’s because he is old school he
don’t take any rubbish / he doesn’t want to be the players best
mate, some others need to take note on that, but he is
approachable and willing to discuss but he draws a line …
excellent !! Without doubt as PM2 says the heir to the throne of
       #1.
