How on earth a penalty wasn't given by VAR Tierney against
Mitchell. I understand fully how Robinson didn't see it but no
excuse for Tierney, it's stonewall. The fact that Dermot said
that he heard Tierney say that Mitchell got the ball when he
very clearly didn't is a terrible, factually incorrect decision
from Tierney.

I was watching a stream. My instant reaction was penalty. I was
- yet again - astonished that VAR has not got involved. There is
one angle in particular that seems to highlight the fact that
Mitchell did not get the ball.

Chelsea in a very rough run on VAR decisions at the moment.
Pickford, Delap and now this. Some of the decisions / non-VAR
interventions are inexplicable.

I wonder if VAR went off one camera angle and failed to review
all available camera angles? Chelsea were unlucky but I can see
why Robinson didn't give it.
