Good overall from Bond apart from lack of action taken against
Wilson and Silva for their dissent.
Think Andy Hinchcliffe summed up the first penalty very well as
Bond couldnt be sure looking thru Morsy as to whether he made
contact, perfect use of var, exactly what it is intended for.
Nice to see traditional colours by 007 and team too rather than
the illuminous ones liked by some members here.

Or cautioned if he thought it only dissent ??
Throughout the game he found it much easier to caution visiting
players than home ones. The 5-1 ratio of cards did not reflect
the relative behaviour of the players.

I thought it was poor from 007 not to caution both Wilson and
Silva for their protestations… perhaps Silva should be observing
how calm and collected McKenna was in the Ipswich dugout.
All the penalties were correctly awarded, even after VAR came in
to recommend a review.
007 is getting slated on the Fulham fans forum, unjustified in
my opinion.

Blimey! Lots to cover from that game. I had to make do with
watching on Sky today as my youngest lad plays Sunday football
and obviously it’s family first (or in other words, my missus
point blank refused to go out in this weather and I had to be
there!)
Have to disagree with my fellow Fulham correspondent TTFL, I
think the foul on Wilson is a blatant red card. He’s clean
through and with the pace he is travelling at, he is clearly
getting to the ball before the covering defender. Clear DOGSO
for me.
The handball in the box, I’m not sure about. Can’t expect Bond
to see that in real time, no blame attached to him. Is there
enough for VAR to get involved? Personally I’d say it’s a
handball offence, his arm is away from his side and appears to
go towards the ball. Perhaps not quite obvious enough for an
intervention, so no real complaints.
The first Fulham penalty - here I do have an issue with Bond.
That is the easiest award of a penalty you’ll ever see. He’s
looking straight at it, no one in his line of vision. I can’t
fathom how he has not given that. VAR had no choice but to come
in. For a referee at this level not to see it is bizarre.
The next two pens are also clear cut and don’t need comment.
Wilson gobbing off at Bond is completely unacceptable. Can
understand his frustration at a the pen not originally being
awarded, but you can never ever throw the cheat word around and
he’ll hopefully be dealt with retrospectively. No excuse for
that at all.
As for ‘moany Marco’, well, his antics on the sidelines have
never sat well with me, but to his credit, up until today
anyway, he has been very well behaved this season and it’s been
great to see. He did lose his head today, no doubt about it, and
it isn’t a good look.
Overall, a tough day at the office for Bond. For me, he got two
KMI’s wrong, the non red card and first Fulham penalty.
Cracking game though 😀 and I’d genuinely like to see
Ipswich stay up.

I too think those manager's behavior is indeed often very poor
but it has nothing to do with them being "foreign". The English
are just as capable of abusing as anyone else. Abusive behavior
has no link to nationality. I am not quite sure the point being
made here.

Abuse of officials and bad behaviour on the touchline has
increased since the likes of Guardiola, Mourinho, Arteta & Silva
started managing in the PL.
Look at Eddie Howe as an example, its very rare he will act in
the unprofessional way on the touchline, recieve yellow cards or
berate match officials.

But how many times has tindall been sent off? Howe may not show
it on the touchline but he is the same as any other

You make a very convincing argument for the red in a very
logical and well thought out comment.
I still think that the other defender may well have got across
and covered, plus Wilson certainly looked like he was on the way
down when the challenge was incoming. No argument with regard to
it being a foul.
It will be interesting to hear what Lord Gallagher makes of
today’s offerings on his tv slot.

Eddie Howe is the exception rather than the rule. If only more
had his respect and class, whatever their nationality!

I think it’s a red card but it’s not clear cut. There is some
doubt so yellow can be supported,l. Clear foul on Wilson for
penalty not sure how he missed it. Both other penalties pretty
clear.
