I thought it was but wasnt 100pct sure, thats where the circle
card disappeared to !!

To me this is a perfect example of good arguments on all sides
of the debate, VAR right to not get involved.

Dont forget Stephen Taylor walked earlier that night also, i
dont think villa scored after the magpies went down to 8.

Dermott Gallagher agreed red. He understood the other side of
the argument but felt Duran could have done more.

I thought it was harsh on first viewing but having seen it again
I think it's 100 percent a red. He could have easily prevented
the contact or reduced the ferocity of it and he chose not to.

Interesting that the AR2 and 4th official have seen the incident
suggesting a yellow card as it’s accidental on the back but the
red is based on where he is holding, he got conned into going
red against the advice of 2 colleagues.

The comms need to be better.taylor should be explaining to var
what he saw instead of saying”I’m going red”.
Correct decision reached but process needs to be better
