Snooker Referee - Great Composure and Compassion

I hope this is ok to post here, sorry to the admins if it is
not.
I am a huge snooker fan and I know that in snooker referees are
largely facilitators while they do often also have to make big
calls of course.
Anyway, I felt that the referee here showed excellent composure
and especially compassion towards the young 18 year old player
who clearly felt very bad for the way the match ended.
The behavior of Selt.... well I believe he has apologized but
the least said the better.

I also follow snooker and play both here and abroad at a
reasonable amateur level.
As such, I am friends with a lot of referees and naturally have
an interest in that side of the game.
I feel the referee did very well here and will also show
restraint on my personal thoughts of the incident!

I do enjoy watching snooker when the time allows and although
I’m not a complete die hard avid fan, I do know the behaviour of
Selt is utterly disgraceful and very rude.
Is there some disciplinary action that the WPBSA can take with
regard to this incident, or at least having a word with Selt?

I was wondering that too TTFL, I would certainly hope there can
be some, even if minor, public reprimand.
I have to confess though, despite my love for the sport - I am
clueless on the more nuanced rules and disciplinary processes of
snooker.
Whereas with soccer, which I cannot describe as being anything
like my favorite sport, I am more interested in the officiating
than the playing!!

It's just embarrassing by Selt
One could almost sympathise with a gut reaction, after the fluke
went in, but to continue over 2 minutes later it needs looking
into
