Thoughts on the Emerson challenge on Guedes in the box. Looked
like it was a clear barge in the back worthy of a penalty
review.
Not really sure why they dismissed it at Shockley Park.

On first glance looks a clear pen.didnt see a replay so not 100%
sure if inside box.wopves score within 30secs anyway as I type

Totally agree, dreadful decision by Brooke’s and var . Those
decisions just must be given .

Then a clear foul in the build up to the hammers 2nd goal ,
wolves can justifiably feel hard done by tonight . Brooks should
be disappointed by his performance this evening.

I thought it was outside the box, so not a lot VAR can do in
that situation. Should’ve been a free kick at least.

What on earth is going on at Shockley Park this evening… three
clear incidents that have been ruled as ok which arguably could
have resulted in two penalties and the West Ham goal being
disallowed.
I know they are trying to use referees call as much as possible,
however when the refereeing is so poor and not seeing these
incidents as fouls, then it throws that term of “referees call”
into the quagmire.

Very very poor from brooks tonight and no better from var . I
feel very sorry for the wolves.

Brooks not great but a shambles from madley and meridith
tonight.3 var incidents.2 possible penalties for wolves and
potential West Ham disallowed goal.so poor and looks like it
could be the second big var decision to get a manager sacked…

Some of the decisions in that game from Brooks and VAR were
baffling… the best one for the second non Wolves penalty
“there’s contact but he doesn’t need to go down like that”… the
facts are you don’t have to go down at all if you are fouled…
officials need to start doing the job that they are contracted
to do because it’s below the standard the last couple of weeks
in my view.

Not good scenes at the end either with all the push and shove.
Lemina had totally lost the plot and was lucky that he didn’t do
anything more violent to warrant a red.
A very poor, almost diabolical evening for the officials,
particularly VAR who made a complete dogs dinner of interpreting
what is and what isn’t a foul.
Wolves will feel very hard done by, and they have plenty of
reasons to.
