Great clip of Gillet in his final game in Australia, might I
suggest judging off that small clip alone that he has a very
bright future in England?

Excellent insight. He certainly comes across as a well
respected official and a decent guy. Whether the pressure was
off a bit and he felt demob happy I don’t know but if he
communicates as well in this country with both players and
fellow officials alike he should do well. Perhaps he could teach
Mr Davies and his team a thing or 2 about communication!

Really liked the ongoing chats he has. Pressure was definitely
off but you could tell he has a good decision making process.
Love to have seen more

Can't wait to see (and hear!) him over here so hope he soon
makes SG1. He seems to be a highly competent official with an
engaging personality and style who appears to get on well with
colleagues and players alike. As a FIFA official surely he can
be fast tracked when he settles over here.

He looks a really talented referee over the water. I am sure he
will utilise his skills well over here. I am sure he will be
relishing the opportunity to push himself and test himself with
our brand of football.

He was 4th official at Anfield on Saturday, thought he might
have been given a run out in the second half but alas not.
