Southampton v Chelsea - Tony Harrington

Interesting decision for Tony Harrington as he sent off Stephens
of Southampton for pulling the hair of an opponent before a
       corner was taken.
Spot on decision for me. A needless action, petulant and utterly
ridiculous. The VAR came in and recommended Stephens be sent
       off.
Harrington continuing his really fine season and goes from
strength to strength. His decision making is very good and is
getting the matches his performances deserve.

I was looking forward on match of the day to see a rare
appearance of the circle red card, but alas, Harrington seems to
have ditched it in favour of the standard card.
       😜

Exactly the sort of thing that the ability to have an OFR is a
benefit for - something that would be easy to miss in real-time
but when spotted is a clear red card offence. Good work all
       round.

Are their any officials about that still use it? Don’t think
their is any in select group 1 at least as far as I know.

I don’t think anyone now in SG1 uses a circle card now.
In the EFL, Whitestone I’m pretty sure still uses a circle.
Andy Haines did as well IIRC, plus with his regular visits to
Spotland, I’m sure it would have been seen there a few times!
