Chris Kavanagh - Liverpool v Man City

Surprised no one has come on here early to praise him this
afternoon. In full and firm control throughout, although it was
not the most difficult game to manage. All cautions were correct
and Liverpool penalty correct as well. Definitely deserves
       praise for that performance.

Absolutely. I was at Anfield and would give him a solid 10/10.
Well done Chris and the rest of his team!

I'd go as far as it was the best I've ever seen him before,
absolutely faultless. Betts and Cann were excellent on the line
       too.

[/quote]defo the best this season for him and hopefully that
gets him back to this time last year when it seemed he got every
       big game on(deservedly)
One thing I’ll say is that isn’t it so good to see Darren cann
still running the line nevermind on Liverpool city.still one of
       the best

Best refereeing performance so far this season by anyone, from
imo a referee who is now on a par with Michael Oliver and
       Anthony Taylor .

the champions league in next few weeks.i know it’s near the end
and things getting tense but there has been a lot of debuts this
       season

I was at Anfield and thought Kavanagh was excellent today, the
best performance I’ve seen from him. Looked totally in control
throughout and was happy to let the game flow. Credit where
       credit’s due.

Excellent from Kavanagh, probably one of his best ever games,
fully justified his appointment to this game and hope more
       follow.
Always in control, let the game flow, cautioned were necessary,
       fitness levels excellent,
       Communication excellent.
Great team effort, praise also for the excellent assistants
       messrs Betts and Cann.
To make it a 11/10 performance wore black to make someone
       special very happy.

I always think that referee ratings should be multiplied by a
factor to take account of the attitude of both teams. Both teams
were positive and the game played in the right spirit which
makes it easier for a referee.
But Kavanagh could not have done better imho and he deserves the
       applause he is getting.
