My understanding is the same as you, TA - Lewis Smith is a
National List referee who twnds to get appointed as if he’s a
top end SG2, like Josh Smith for example. They definitely seem
to be more fluid appointments in the last 12 months. I’ll give
you two lists for what my thoughts are worth:
PGMOL’s top viewed referees:
Alex Chilowicz
Will Finnie
Farai Hallam
Tom Kirk
Scott Oldham
Sunny Gill
Ben Toner
My top viewed referees:
Will Finnie
Farai Hallam
Ben Toner
Tom Reeves
Ollie Yates
Adam Herczeg
Also keen to keep an eye on James Durkin and Dale Baines for
quick ascensions.

With the job that Ollie Yates has, which I will not say, it’s
highly unlikely that he will progress further.

Well, no snow and nasty white stuff down in Sussex, however I
think some games over the weekend will be iced off if this cold
snap persists.

Hope for it, by all means. Just don't expect it.

Iced, snowed or rained off as Storm Bert makes inroads through
the UK on Sat and Sunday. I'm told it's already snowing on the
palm trees of Bournemouth Boulevard!

Every time I see a report on Marsden it all seems to be very
critical of his performances.
I’ve not seen him live nor on the television so I can’t pass an
accurate assessment of his refereeing credentials, however our
well respected contributors on here do not rate him at all.
Is he that bad?

It even snowed here momentarily today! Heavy rain forecast for
Saturday and Sunday but the high winds don't kick in until
Monday. We all might need our wellies over the weekend & I
suspect grassroots & lower league matches are going to be few
and far between anywhere around the country.
