Something's gone wrong

What has happened to the 'views' counter? It seems to be running
amok. Over the last 30 hours or so, this season's Pyramid Patrol
figure has risen from roughly 16000 to around 53000. Clearly
this is not possible - there must be a fault in the system.

Possibly a bot attack on the site. Flipmode is the techie guru,

The analytical data available to RTR from the forum hosts, CAF,
is quite limited.
I’ve performed some behind-the-scenes forum maintenance to
enhance performance, including identifying and fixing unreported
errors and flushing the cache. This should help correct any
discrepancies in topic views, replies, and PM counts.
I haven’t noticed any changes in the data for the specific topic
you mentioned. My best guess is that the topic is being hosted
or linked elsewhere, and the traffic is being redirected to RTR,
which is certainly possible.

I have noticed the Guests view in the last few days..going
mental. It went sown to single digit earlier today but now back
to around 1500. Hopefully we're not being took over by AI :)

Another connection query. I’ve tried on three separate devices
plus on WI FI and 5G and I’m regularly getting that the network
connection has been lost whilst trying to post a comment of
reply.
Anyone else having issues?
