This video has surfaced not sure if it’s new as it appears to be
a few years old but not a great look for Mr Coote

Jeez! If that is legitimate, then that will surely spell the end
of Coote. Why would he do that in the first place? Madness. Can
only hope for his sake that is some AI wizardry and completely
fake. But certainly doesn’t appear to be.

Need to be very, very careful with this one as it could quite
easily not be him. I Would be amazed in this day and age if
somebody at that level showed that little intelligence to be
involved in something like that. I hope for everybody’s sake
that this is AI or someone who looks very much like him.

When I first saw this my first thought was it's someone messing
about with AI. I really hope it is for everyones' sake because
it's certainly done a good job of portraying two blokes
completely off their nut on something. If it turns out to be
genuine the fallout will be massive.

Sad. No winners here except conspiracy theorists. At least PGMOL
have acted quickly but there are a few questions unanswered. The
statement lacks detail in that it doesn't explain all that Coote
did that led to his dismissal, although we can imagine.
The decision can be appealed and rightly so. Sad.

Clearly this whole debacle is very regrettable and it’s shocked
the whole refereeing fraternity when this was all made public.
I understand that it is being reported that Mr Coote has a right
to appeal his dismissal… I think it’s only fair that we refrain
from speculating further as his right to appeal is lawful and we
must respect this on this forum.
