They must be able to right? VAR can intervene for straight reds
so I presume if he missed they would have said to have another
look. I’m certain on the Mic’d Up programme there have been
incidents where VAR have checked for DOGSO. I might be wrong…

This is a very shaky start for a very shaky referee.never rated
coote and tonight is proving me right.how he didn’t see the
fouls on salah/nunez is astonishing.darren fletcher obviously
not part of the fan club either

he’s completely lost it now.is it that he doesn’t trust his

spot a clear offside

A predictably poor performance in what is a relatively important
match at the top of the table. Coote should not have been
appointed to this match.

Do they use buzzer flags still in the PL, presume they don't
technically need them cause they have comms but surely the AR is
shouting offside at him?
Coote needs binning off and sent packing to the FL, never rated
him and he always looks out of his depth and a rabbit in
headlights.

I presume he’s said offside in the comms/buzzer(not sure if they
have that)but the assistant can be seen waving his flag after
about 5seconds of having flag up.
