As seen previously with the PGMOL and my own workplace, you can
always tell with released statements whether they are
disappointed to part company with an employee or rather pleased.
They do seem genuinely disappointed to lose Mr Atkinson.

I thought I had read somewhere that Moss has left and gone to
Australia?

Correct - it's Moss that's Atkinson is replacing!

Who am I to say but I would have thought that Select Group
manager was a more prominent position than VAR manager in
Scotland (no disrespect to my Scottish friends). But with all
the politics, pressure and personalities in football - who
knows! I wish Mr. Atkinson the best, I really think Willie
Collum is going about his job very well in Scotland, sounds an
exciting time for refereeing up there.

As said by Adam will be very interesting to see how the
appointments change with whoever takes over from Martin.maybe we
will see gillett at the ckttage wearing yellow of course!! on a
different note is Graham Scott injured or just gone full time
var.also is tierney injured long term?

I guess there will be two major issues for the encumbent of
Atkinson’s role.
Firstly a full ban on yellow shirts and secondly a continuing
ban on Gillett being appointed to Fulham games.
I wish the new person well in taking over whoever it may be.
