Premier league referees take note! Sandro Schärer has started
well by actually applying the laws early in the game (regularly
ignored in the EPL) with a YC for a reckless tackle and then a
YC for simulation (almost always ignored in the EPL) , good
start by the Swiss who is in my view one of UEFAs best rising
stars.

Felt that was more a penalty than not for Liverpool - but
probably not VAR stuff, the attacker was going down already.
The last time I watched TNT they spoke about a penalty incident
for about 20 minutes after it happened - where’s the mute
button!
