No surprise to see Taylor at Arsenal.
Decent games for Hooper and Pawson, with Lewis Smith is back on
the scene and Brooks for us on the tele.
Interesting that Donohue is playing VAR for the first time, with
Gillett as AVAR.

A sign of hope for my learn’d Fulham correspondent…
Gillett has not had Fulham or Brentford this season as far as I
can see..

Some fascinating appointments here…..
Lewis Smith gets another Premier League game, he was very good
in the Leeds v Sheffield United match last week.
Tony Harrington has Southampton only a few weeks after he
handled them at Arsenal.
Darren Bond picking up some good appointments.
Jarred Gillett, one assumes, must be injured, as he hasn’t had
an on field appointment since the end of last month. Also he
seems to be on VAR duties a lot which seems to substantiate that
claim. If someone can enlighten us……
On that note, Matthew Donohue is VAR with Gillett helping
him…..I know Donohue had a couple of trial games at the end of
last season, possible elevation?
Andy Madley is getting a good run of games, and Brooks is
getting into his stride after his early injury.
Soon the SG1 cohort will be back to near full strength as
Michael Salisbury and Thomas Bramall are doing EFL and National
League games to prove their fitness.
Gavin Ward seems to be getting a lot of 4th official duties,
again, possibility of an elevation? I know a lot of our
correspondents will be horrified if that happens!
So a lot of fascination around this current set of
appointments…..and the other question is, what has happened to
Paul Tierney?
