Looks like Neil Hair went off injured at AFCW - he seems to be
injured more than not!

Mr Elliot Peterborough v Rotherham
Well the crowd sang `you're not fit to referee' a number of
times...unfair on Mr Elliot as he was certainly fit and up with
play...perhaps 'you're not ready to referee at this level' would
be nearer the mark...
Although promising aspects, did look like 'a rabbit in the
headlights' at times.
Decision making very inconsistent and arbitrary at best, with
who shouted loudest getting the call.
Couldn't argue with his cautions but the same challenges were
not punished just moments later.
As I said, you could see why he has been promoted, just today
solid old pros and managers had his number and he wasn't
experienced enough to deal with it.
Saying that, if he doesn't get to officiate these games he won't
get the experience

Team)
Football League 2
Referee: Atkinson, Ben
Assistant Referee: Woodward, Daniel
Assistant Referee: Nichol, Adam
Fourth Official: Forder-Hay, Jack
Just a quick summary. Not much to say, didn’t get many decisions
wrong at all. Penalty shout for Crewe correctly denied in or
around the 20th min. Slightly harsh with booking our #11 for
kicking the ball away, he’d literally passed it as Ben blew his
whistle for a foul. Harsh indeed.
