Poor day at the office for him. Let the game get totally out of
hand at various points.
Palmer was booked for pointing out that Ward-Prowse had twice
moved the foam to a more favourable position (at this point
Kavanagh was oblivious as he was at the touch line speaking to
Nuno). That free kick was in and of itself a dreadful decision
with the ball being blasted at Madueke’s arm from less than a
yard away.
The sending off was absolutely justified and could have been a
straight red.
Forest player already on a yellow then kicks the ball away to
delay the restart, nothing done.
A melee in front of the benches caused by a deliberate lash out
by Williams, the outcome of which saw Cucurella booked as well
(no idea what for).
13 minutes of injury time, of which at least 3 were wasted and
he blows up pretty much immediately on the dot.
Never had control at any point and had he shown control the game
would not have ended up the mess that it was.
Forest very good value for their point and could have snatched
it at the end.

Didn’t see the game but the mass brawl will definitely attract
the attention of the FA.
Chelsea will already cop a fine for 6 yellows, and I hope both
teams get the book thrown at them for the stupid childish
behaviour they displayed.

The Chelsea defender nonto should have also been sent off in
injury time for a second yellow

That aweful colour shirt that Kav wore set the tone for the day
by the looks of it

Twice in a week. He's going to be on the naughty step for the

He lost complete control by the end, but again it’s Kav
inability to spot the moments when to produce a card, then he
plays catch up and has numerous other ones. He doesn’t get a
grip early if the game which would aid match control much
better. Bad day for Kav again

He had the opportunity in the very first minute. Ryan Yates - no
stranger to persistent fouling or yellow cards - went in with a
high foot on Fernandez and scraped it down his shin. Nothing.
Set the tone for what happened.

£40k fine for Chelsea and £125k for Forest after the brawl….
Mere pocket money to them.
