Upsetting Mr Cooper, and again potentially 2 missed red cards
from him….. every game at the moment there are major questions
on Barrott and his ability. I stand by my initial stance his
been pushed far too quickly, by now he should have had just some
trial games…. Maybe 3/4 max like Josh and Lewis Smith.
How much longer can we accept the level being produced, when
fouls and reds are being missed

I watched the whole game this evening on game of the day and I’m
afraid it was a poor performance by Barrott.
Califiori was a very lucky chap to stay on the field, and what
was even more puzzling was the second yellow not coming after a
flurry of cards to open the second half up, a couple of which
were very harsh. Certainly a lack of consistency here, which
seems to be a trait that follows on from last week at West Ham.
It certainly looked like a foul on Vardy before Arsenal broke to
score in the first half too.

Skipp was the luckiest man on the pitch, he could have had at
least four yellows and one could have been a straight red.

I was at the game and thought he was poor throughout for both
       sides.
Even worse when between him and Whitestone they’ve allowed and
let go the fact that Nwaneri had ran onto the pitch and was
practically in position before Partey had even got out the
       centre circle!
Very poor day for Barrott and needs to do much better imho

Probably should have been a foul on Vardy in the build up to the
Arsenal goal, he’s clearly pulled back.
Califiori clearly should have received a SYC, perhaps the
pressure of sending off an Arsenal player for the 3rd week in a
       row got to Barrott?
Skipp could (should) also have have gone late on for a SYC, but
Barrott instead played a strange advantage when one wasn’t
really there and therefore couldn’t caution Skipp (was a SPA
       incident).
In all honesty, I don’t think I’ve actually seen Barrott have a
good game when I’ve watched him live. He’s very inconsistent
with his decision making and issuing of cards. I’m sure he must
have plenty of good games to be SG1 already, maybe I’ll catch
       one eventually!!

Please accept my apologies for the Disagree rating above. I have
no opinion, not having seen the game in question. Unfortunately
it seems all too easy to give ratings without realising and only
discover the error too late. Sorry!

I was at the game as an Arsenal fan and thought we got away with
some key decisions. I was amazed that he didn't give the free
kick to Vardy before our first goal and/or that VAR didn't
suggest he take another look given it was the start of the APP.
In the ground it looked like the Leicester player dived over
Callafiori's leg to try and get him sent off, but watching the
replays, he was quite lucky. Having said that, I'm not sure his
actual YC was even a foul. I think Barrott was under pressure
because partly the Arsenal crowd were baying for blood at every
decision after the last couple of weeks, and also because he
didn't caution the Leicester 10 in the first half for a very
cynical foul to stop Saka getting away which would have made a
SYC for a similar offence quite controversial!
The bizarre advantage he tried to play when Skipp fouled
Sterling when Arsenal would have much prefered the free kick 20
yards from goal in the centre of the pitch with minutes to go at
2-2 was another situation he'll hopefully learn from.
So overall, not the strongest of performances, and whilst he
upset both sides, I think we were the slight beneficiaries. He
definitely has the ability and potential - his movement around
the pitch is great and he was talking to players throughout, but
it's the key decisions that people will focus on and it's these
that there is still some room for improvement.

I agree with the above based on watching the highlights on MOTD.
Perhaps not the best of games for Mr Barrott but I am sure he
       will learn from the game.
I thought we agreed a while back that the title of each new post
should be name and game only and not an opinion or comment as
well. 'Barrott @ it again' should be reserved for the main body
       of the post, thanks.

He’s always upset over something and wouldn’t trust a word he
       says 🤷‍♂️
