Good first half from Gillett, a couple of minor flashpoints but
nothing compared to last weeks offerings in the North London
derby.

Haven’t seen the game, but it sounded a properly intense and
competitive game, and Gillett seemed in good control, as in the
North London derby. Just the eight yellow cards issued and a
penalty given!!
The Australian is refereeing really solidly at the moment and
seems to be the go to official for the top matches on current
form.

I thought it was a great performance, which added to the game.
He definitely has a natural ability to compose himself
excellently with players.

A fine game from a referee really on top of his game, a ref who
gets KMI spot on, a referee who administers justice and sanction
when needed…. If he doesn’t drop this level of form he go on to
become #1

I thought it was a great display from Jarred. The only thing I
think that was wrong all game from the officials was the
"penalty". With the benefit of the replay(s), I still am
struggling to see where the contact was made, and, had contact
not have been made would Anthony Gordon have been able to even
reach it?
I found it incredibly strange that no OFR was suggested for this
decision.
