A contender for the earliest ever RC for VC or Oscar for best
over-reaction? Hard to see from the images provided. Havertz
lucky to escape a yellow, as is Haaland moments later.

Michael Oliver should have allowed to let Walker get back into
position before free kick was taken.
Created all the problems for the rest of the game his self

Poor officiating. Rugby Union has long recognised that players
need time to regroup if a player is being spoken to and is out
       of position.

Utter stupidity from Trossard in booting the ball away when on a
       yellow.
When will players learn that delaying the restart will get you a
card, and even more brainless behaviour when already on a
       yellow!

The jump into the back of Silva was probably worthy of a YC in
any case, although I doubt we would have seen it, had he not
       kicked the ball away

Why haven’t we learned from the Brighton game absolute stupidity
from Trossard although he could of been 2nd yellow card for the
foul to mind, Doku should of been booked for booting it away
       earlier on no consistency again

Generally would agree with this. However, Walker is back in line
with the other defenders and looking at the ball before the kick
is taken. He also could have made much more of an effort to get
there faster if he wanted to.

9 seconds between Oliver dismissing both saka and walker from
speaking to both to the free kick being taken, he is then there
when martinelli gets the ball, and gets skilled, and played back
to Califoiori and because he scores a screamer, walker wants to
moan. Good officiating from Oliver; even more so for the second
yellow card, trossard being an absolute idiot. Don’t even know
why he’s moaning, as Arsenal should be the most on it club for
not kicking the ball away due to Declan rice, but nothing has
been done so well done to Oliver for dealing with it.

Didn’t see it in real time, so interested in the clips at half
       time.
Sorry - that’s on Walker. He ambled back after Oliver’s word,
and Arsenal didn’t exactly rush the free kick the moment the
       ‘talking to’ finished.
To pull the free kick back or delay it further would have been
       really quite generous.
Edit: Referees should be accommodating, sure, but Walker was
well in position and facing the free kick when it was taken. No
       issue with it for me.
