        A TAYLOR - AFCB v Chelsea

13 yellows so far up to 82 mins, and at least three of them were
       very harsh.
Cucurella was very lucky not to see a second yellow for a foul
       on Scott.
Not really sure what to make of Taylor this evening, he hasn’t
lost control (as he rarely does) but it just feels a tad
       inconsistent with his performance.
That said, the dissent on show this evening really hasn’t
helped, with both benches seeing a card.
The yellow card for the penalty was correct.

Record breaking number of yellow cards!!
I think potentially Chelsea were lucky to get away with a second
       yellow just before the goal.

And the premier league record for yellow cards has been beaten
this evening…. 14 on the field and 2 on the touchline…
Both sides to get FA fines too for cards which is a novelty.

Very poor performance from Taylor. Never had control of the game
and happy to referee it with cards.

Did Taylor really need to give all those cards tho? Feel like he
could of managed some of them better

Absolutely had control from first to last minute.
If players and benches are intent on playing silly buggers then
       cards are inevitable
Every one correct IMO...he refereed what was in front of him

       16 yellows
       14 players
       2 managers
Taylor did very well, players didn’t help at all they put him in
that position and all that happened was Taylor was totally
       consistent

You can't blame player ill discipline on the referee, players &
coaches have to own it & take responsibility for their own
       actions.
       Blimmin freezing 2nd half!
I sat silently as those around me in the main stand were giving
       Gary Beswick pelters!!

8 yellow cards for Chelsea with only 9 fouls committed. That
       must surely be a record?
Taylor’s history with CFC is well documented with some very high
       profile controversial decisions.
I thought he generally did well yesterday though he initially
failed to crack down on clear and deliberate tactics to
tactically foul Palmer whenever he got the ball. The aggression
was tolerated early on and Bournemouth were the benefactors.
The penalty was correct IMO despite the striker deliberately
       running into the keeper.

I wonder what the comments would have been had this match been
refereed by Josh Smith, or David Coote, or Darren England, or
       ...... (you get my point).
