I thought Robinson was ok, but he needs to be more brave and
deliver 2nd cautious wnd not be over thinking it, as 2 defo 1
player very lucky not to see red on Saturday. He just needs to
be the Tim Robinson from 2/3 years ago.

Maybe Mr. Robinson is not perceived as the referee he was
because of all the differing guidance referees are getting,
trying to let the game flow for example. Also, when is an
offence cautionable? Maybe this also affects our judgement of
officials.

I'm no historian but I can tell you that deliberate handball
hasn't been a caution for a very very long time, if it ever was.
Personally, I don't think it did stop a promising attack. There
were a lot of Ipswich players back and a defender about to
immediately engage the Liverpool attacker. It may very well have
turned into a promising attack but it didnt exist at the point
the offence occurred.

I think we all need to wait a few games until it all calms down
and then maybe start giving our opinions. We have no idea of
what these refs are being told as to when to caution. I know
that the powers that be want a higher threshold for fouls so
that could be something to do with it. In the Chelsea game one
of the poorest challenges of the weekend when De bruyne was
taken out late and Mr Taylor played a poor advantage and no
caution. So it looks like we need to get used to it. But give it
time.
