Very good first half.3 yellows all correct.will be a very tough
second half.hopefully he’s up to the task

Dias will get the final IMO depending on Portugal’s progression.
He has been excellent.

I don't think he will get the final even if Portugal go out, but
I have to agree he was excellent in what was an exciting game.
He can be well satisfied with his performance this evening.

He was excellent but not a final candidate.thats the end of his
tournament as main ref but job well done.maybe 4O in sf/final

Don’t think he will get it either. He’s yet to have a Europa or
Champions league final so definitely has people in front of him
who could and would possibly get it.
I will be very surprised if Orsato doesn’t get it, maybe Zwayer
or Vincic as 4thers dependant on germanys progression

I agree with you on the qf refs but not sure if Kovacs will get
one because of the backlash he might face.if he doesn’t I’d slot
tello in there.
Letexier is deserving of a semi but he will probably be home to
prepare for the olympics(France could make semi)
I don’t think zwayer will get a semi.
I would have Taylor/turpin on one if either France/england lose
at weekend

I would expect Tello to get a QF to help maintain the swap
system

Depending on Portugal's progress I could see Dias as 4th on
either SF or F.
Given that he hasn't refereed CL final as yet there are
definitely referees in front of him

Before tournament, found Dias a bit fussy, but think he was
superb in this game. Turkey are always a handful, but he let
game flow and didn’t fall for any exaggerating. Had game fully
under control, all cards correct and players responded well to
him. Had a big call for potential Austrian 2YC - could go either
way and settled for a final warning.
Regarding future appointments - funny how the ‘performance
principle’ counts until it doesn’t. In tournament, he’s been
excellent but others will be ahead purely on reputation /
pecking order (and Portugal still in). Probably 4th for final.
