       Can’t see anyone has started a topic on this yet.
       Thought he was excellent again. Uses his vast experience and the
       obvious respect he has from the players to the full and never a
       doubt who was in control. Not the most mobile of referees but
       his decision making is second to none.
       If Italian Rossetti didn’t already have fellow Italian Orsato
       pencilled in for the Final Marciniak must surely have been
       awarded it and on merit too

       I agree that his mobility now is somewhat hampered over the last
       couple of years.
       I didn't watch the whole game, but one part stands out that
       typifies this referee: gave a corner that took an easy-to-use
       deflection (no idea what the AR was doing either), then gave a
       very late defensive free kick simply because the goalkeeper
       decided to scream and let gravity do its thing.
