Didn’t think he was great. Nothing major wrong that I could see.
One thing that bugs me is the way he charges over to particular
incidents, it inflames things unnecessarily

The AR wouldn’t have to run 40 yards. They already communicate
in headset that they’re giving the original offside. Not hard to
educate teams that the original place will be the restart and
for the ref to be alert - simply has to whistle and point,
making sure the original placement is right. 4Off could even
help, by saying ‘original offence on edge of circle’ or
something. It’s fine to wait - due to VAR - but teams are often
not even making it back as far forward as the original offence,
which surely can’t be right. Keep the game moving if short
distance and it doesn’t matter, but the non-offending team
shouldn’t lose 40 yards!

100% blue kit so far! Was hoping for an outing for the new gold
kit to see what it was like - surely the ‘gold’ is permitted ….
