       Greek final - Frappart

3 red cards and outrageous behaviour, as usual in Greek
football. Seeing replay, I actually think the 2nd 2YC is wrong
(not sure player did much wrong despite ridiculous reaction) but
understandable decision live. 3rd RC is an excellent decision
and well spotted. Brave to give it, despite being under
       pressure.
Ridiculously slow reaction by security at end. Must have been
obvious - especially in current greek football! - that there was
going to be a scene. Totally unacceptable to leave referee
       unsafe like that.
When is UEFA /FIFA going to get a grip of Greek football - the
fact a foreign referee has to do the game in front of no fans
(yet again) says everything. Referee threats, club misconduct,
shady behaviour, bribery has gone on for years. Really has to be
       gripped by someone.

A Greek football final is obviously a poison chalice, our UEFA
       referees take note!

Second dismissal: we are shown numerous replays of the player
making contact with the inside of the right leg of the opponent
       just above the ankle.
       Great spot.
She is simply an exceptional referee.

I agree. I think all of them are spot on.
An outstanding performance from the highlights.

Have to confess that those scenes frightened me. This may sound
very sexist and I have no intention of it being so but if that
had been a male referee I would have been concerned but with a
female ref it was even worse. Full marks to the ARs for helping
to protect her while the authorities appeared to do little to
help. Although it was a domestic final do UEFA still have powers
to take strong action against the Greek FA?

Didn't UEFA withdraw the use of foreign refs for a while,
  HTML https://greekcitytimes.com/2023/05/06/uefa-suspends-support-for-foreign-referees-in-greek-super-league-after-violent-incidents/<br
/>I assume they must have re-started supplying refs. There was a
high profile incident at the airport with Polish referee Pawel
Raczkowski. Not sure whatever came of that but I remember there
were allegations he was drunk on the flight & counter
allegations that he was sober & was attacked by a fan of
Panathinaikos who also threatened to destroy him.
