I'm not going to comment in depth, as I don't know what
happened, but I'm glad to see action being taken to support and
protect our officials.

The link’s working okay for me, for what it’s worth.
Darren Lewis of the Daily Mirror has tweeted out the comment
made if you want to find it, with regards to a referee’s skin
colour. Just a 5 month suspension - very disappointing.

As an aside, the FA's written reasons have the names of the
participants redacted except for that of Rodger Gifford. This
is unusual and seems bizarre given that most of their identities
are in the public domain and others can be determined from a
quick perusal of MOAS.

Probably just my PC being temperamental - it has its' moments! I
went back to the front page, clicked on news and was able to
find it.

Just to correct the record - the comment was made to the
Referee’s Coach who was also appointed to the game - and not one
of the on-field officials.
Doesn’t make it any less reprehensible.
