The handball law needs to be same everywhere.it’s to complicated
without having different rules in each league

I like gillett too but he isn’t used as much as I would like in
       big games

I tend to agree, but we haven't had a chance to see him live
       yet!!

       1. Chris Kavanagh
       2. Andy Madley
       3. Tim Robinson
Special mention for Sam Allison who put in the best performance
       at Dean Court this season

I would agree with the majority of the posters but sadly I would
disagree with Robinson. He got off to a really great start but
then his performances dipped in my opinion and I think that was
down to a lack of PL middles as his appointments seemed to
       dwindle

I don’t like ranking referees above others but I will say I
think Chris kavanagh is the best referee in the country at the
       moment.

For me the better performing referees over the season are:
Brooks, Kavanagh, Madley, Gillett, Barrott, Oliver and Hooper.
The latter Really coming back very well after the unfortunate
var non intervention in the Liverpool v Spurs game, a tribute to
       his mental strength.
Notable mentions to Allison, Robinson and Jones.
It is really good to see more referees coming through the ranks,
hope it continues for them and others next season.

Standouts: Madley, Kav, Brooks, Gillett (2nd half the season),
Robinson (1st half the season), Hooper (ever since the Spurs
Liverpool game), special mention as well for Michael Sailsbury
who was great whenever I've seen him on field, and Graham Scott,
sadly both haven't been blessed with lots of games!
Disappointments: Oliver+Taylor (only because of the high
standards they've previously set), Attwell, Pawson, Coote,
       Tierney.
All the rest have been OK but still not the best, special
mention ofc to Sam Barrott from SG2!

At Craven Cottage, AFAIK we haven't had Scott, Kavanagh, Coote,
Madley, Harrington, Oliver or Gillett (many tears shed for the
last two in the list) in the PL this season.
Performances that stick out at either end:
       Sam Allison - Excellent
Josh Smith - Very Good (2x)
       Rob Jones - Very Good
       Sam Barrott - Good
Anthony Taylor - Poor (not great at the Cottage on Saturday, but
more overall this season when I've seen him)
       Craig Pawson - Poor
       Rebecca Welch - Poor
       Darren Bond - Very Poor
       Lewis Smith - Very Poor
Without trawling through my old moans, nothing comes to mind
about Salisbury (x2), Robinson, Brooks, Tierney, Bramall,
       England, Hooper, Attwell

My selections for this category are thus(in no particular
       order):-
       Brooks
       Barrott
       A Madley
       Kavanagh
Gillett (better second half of the season)
       Hooper (same as above)
The rest, much of a muchness, Oliver and Taylor haven’t been
anywhere near their best IMHO, so the six above I’ve listed as
they’ve been generally consistent and better performing over the
       season.
Pleased that Andy Madley has the FA Cup final, Sam Barrott did a
first leg Championship semi final and has the League One final,
which are fitting rewards for both gentlemen.
Championship Play Off final? Toss up between Brooks, Hooper and
       maybe Gillett.

Have to agree with UmpireIan49 as it's the same 6 referees I
       had!!
