Best performing refs this season?

What’s everyone’s thoughts on best performing refs this season?I
know that everyone dips in form sometimes but overall my top 5
are
1 kavanagh
2 madley
3 Oliver
4 hooper
5 Taylor

I perhaps haven't watched as many games as some of you, but
based on what I have seen and from highlights, and taking on
board some of the comments on here from knowledgeable
contributors for other matches: -
1. Madley
2. Hooper
3. Brooks
4. Barrott
5. Kavanagh / Gillett
It seems strange not to be including Oliver or Taylor but I just
felt their form has been too up-and-down with KMI errors and
other poor decisions despite some good performances. I very much
hope they perform strongly in the Euros.

Under performers Pawson and Coote
Pawson used to be one of favourites however he has had a really
poor season

Pawson has been a little off the boil recently. He’s had a few
VAR overturns recently and this in my opinion seems to be
affecting his usual sharp decision making.

In Uefas eyes,Pawson is still no3 being the only first group ref
from England getti g games in conference league consistently.in
England Id say he’s ranked 8/9 atm

For me I think Jarred Gillett has been great this season, he
lets the game flow and has had good performances in all of his
TV games this season. I think he is up there as one of the best
and hopefully is used more in Europe!

I like gillett too but he isn’t used as much as I would like in
big games

I've only been to one Premiership match this season when the
referee was Samuel Barrott who put in a very decent performance.
So the disclaimer is, my thoughts are influenced by matches
watched on TV either whole or in part.
I get the impression this has not been a particularly stellar
season for Michael Oliver or Anthony Taylor, though they are
clearly both regarded as the top two both domestically and
internationally and indeed one of them may yet secure a European
Final.
Simon Hooper has really established himself as one of the SG1
big hitters and Andy Madley seems to have a very good season, as
reflected in his FA Cup Final appointment.
Thomas Bramall was also begun to establish himself; more of a
season of treading water for Michael Salisbury
Stuart Attwell and Craig Pawson have been OK but I'm not sure
there is much scope for improvement in either of them.
Chris Kavanagh continues to be a very safe pair of hands and may
properly regarded as a big hitter.
John Brooks has received some very good appointments and in the
main has acquitted himself well.
David Coote, on his day, is a good referee but I don't think he
has ironed out the inconsistencies. Peter Bankes similarly.
Paul Tierney is clearly regarded as a senior member of SG1 by
the authorities; whether his performances merit such an accolade
is something I am less sure about.
Rob Jones has had a steady season. Jarred Gillett has moved
onwards and upwards. Darren England has done well to begin to
overcome difficulties.
I haven't seen enough of Darren Bond, Tony Harrington, Graham
Scott or Tim Robinson to pass any meaningful comment.

I wonder. In Europe referees appear to be under instructions to
referee differently from referees doing Premiership games. Take
the handball law and didn't Webb concede that on one of his
programmes. If this is the case, may it undermine confidence or
perhaps instinctiveness of our FIFA referees? Pawson, Oliver and
Taylor would not be in my top 3. Madley, Hooper, Gillett maybe
who is of course a FIFA referee. Kavanagh would probably be my
third ahead of Gillett.
