Absolutely, what a fantastic achievement and a great story over
the last couple of years. Even though there’s a little bit of
back and forth between our fans and theirs at times, you have to
enjoy and applaud the way they’ve gone about it, playing great
football without spending massive amounts. Would love to see
them continue their style and success in the top flight

It is a surprising achievement and I read somewhere that 6
players in the final game were with the club last season. To be
ahead of Leeds and Southampton who benefited from parachute
payments is remarkable and I don't think Ipswich have splashed
the cash even though they had a new owner.
My son supports Derby and I have challenged Derby to do an
Ipswich!
It is a gruelling season but the Championship is much better
than the Premiership imho and was the 5th largest league in
Europe, I think based on numbers who watch the game.
Well done Ipswich.

It's a remarkable achievement. There was pretty much nothing
between the top 3 teams in League 1 last season. Wednesday and
Plymouth stayed up on the last day of this season, Ipswich get
automatic promotion, and without spending a lot of money.
Will be interesting to see what they do in the Premier League.
Will they play the same open and attacking style as they did
this season, and if so will they suffer the same fate as
Burnley? Or will McKenna be more pragmatic and realise that if
they play that way against the likes of Man City and Arsenal
they are likely to be ripped apart.

I think you'll find it was ELEVEN players in the final game were
there last season.

Have a friend who is an Ipswich fan so I have followed their
season closely from afar. It's nothing short of miraculous given
where they were last season. Back to back promotions and joining
quite an illustrious list of clubs who've done that also.
I'm looking forward to see how they adapt, and wish them every
success in the PL next season. I'll be rooting for them to stay
up (or better, who knows?!)
