Absolute masterclass by Turpin tonight.took full control from
the first minute right through till the end.there must be a
reason for a top 3 ref like Turpin to be observed by
Rossetti👀.
Maybe the euros opening match or more importantly the
final(depending on France obviously)

Agree , he looks relaxed yet in control and is always in the
right position to make the right calls and tonight was no
exception

I've seen lots of games refereed by Turpin in the past few
seasons in Europe and I think this was his best performance.
Euros Final contender? (if France aren't involved)

With both Turpin and Letexier French refereeing is in a very
healthy state.

Got to say I thought he was absolutely fantastic. Always up with
the game but never appears rushed or chasing play. Took no
nonsense and got everything right in real time

Turpin's refereeing style always used to REALLY annoy me, but
this season he's changed somehow and I can't quite put a finger
on it! But he's been superb in the games I've seen him referee
in the CL this season, and his games are much more enjoyable to
watch now.

Fully agree. I think it's those scary eyes! Like Collina, they
exude 'don't mess with me'.

Luis Medina Cantalejo was the same , a very strict and card
happy referee but mellowed massively in his last 2 or 3 seasons
and was superb
