Whitestone on to replace Bell on 55 minutes. Confirmed as a calf
injury.
Bell had done well up to that point.

"You're not fit to referee" from the stands, poor old James
Bell's calf. For once that chant rings true, he genuinely isn't
fit to referee. Hope it's a strain and not a full-on pull (the
pop is horrendous if it is, so surely isn't!)

Think it was his calf that forced him off after about 20 minutes
of Stoke v Ipswich on New Year's Day.

Unfortunately the linesman missed a very clear offside in the
lead up to the second Ipswich goal.

Was it really? And yet the entire stadium applauds when a player
gets injured and can’t continue. Awful

Missed penalty for Ipswich too, no contact on ball, takes
defenders leg...

Bell had a good 55 mins and Whitestone had an equally good 40+
mins. Less sure about the near side Assistant.
