A great game which has been aided by some fantastic refereeing.
There’s been a few iffy foul detections but aside from that, his
use of the advantage law has been sensational.

Fantastic game of football by 2 of the best and most
entertaining teams in the league. Made even more so by an
excellent refereeing performance, Kitchen let the game flow and
made some good spots that didn’t seem obvious at first.

Outstanding game and the rookie referee (first season SG2?)
played his part with a very good performance, correctly issuing
cautions in incidents where players gave him no other choice.
The first of the match’s six goals would have been disallowed by
       VAR however for offside.

A smashing game of football and helped by the officials who
       handled everything well.
Rounded the day off nicely after watching a smashing game at
Ashington this afternoon where all three teams were applauded
off the field at the end. How often does that happen?

Very marginal with the static central defender. Can't be sure
       either way.
Very good match, very well refereed.

He was promoted to the SG2 along with Anthony Backhouse outside
       of the ERDG realignments.
He must have done rather well this season to receive this
appointment over more experienced referees. Possibly one to look
out for next year for a PL trial match if this performance was
       anything to go by.
