S ATTWELL - Fulham v Palace

Black today…. lol
I thought he got off to an iffy start with a few quick fire stop
start free kicks in the opening stages, but on the whole he’s
not needed to get involved much.
There has been some crowd trouble unfortunately in the Palace
end and a few fans have been escorted out by police. Flares were
thrown on at the start too.
There is now a very heavy steward presence in the away end now
too.

An exciting match at time interspersed with some unnecessary
stoppages for minor/non fouls he probably could have let go.
Andersen was lucky not to see yellow much earlier for much
persistent infringement.
Overall I thought Attwell did pretty well.

Andersen was only carded in injury time at the end of the match.
He definitely should have been in the book much earlier after
several infringements against Muniz.
A good second half from Attwell and I thoroughly enjoyed the
contest.
Shame my train was cancelled en route back!

Good to hear Attwell with a good game here, needs these for his
confidence heading into any Euros involvement and into next
season.
