an existentialist argument that offside is offside despite the
margins )

Better solution is of the goalkeeper gets sent off in a penalty
shoot out he shouldnt be replaced at all ie the opposition gets
a free shot at an open goal, keepers wpuld soon wise up

I just watched it back on my TV. There is a clear bump in the
blue line as it goes over the end of Wan Bissaka’s foot. You
cannot see the end of Wan Bissaka’s boot but you can see the end
of the attacker’s boot.

The var gets more camera angles than those shown on tv

Even though the offside call was correct. I can't stand VAR, I
prefer going to a league 1 game these days. Football shouldn't
be decided by a computer. I just hope VAR stays away from the
lower leagues. Haven't seen many complaints from many fans about
the standard of refereeing when VAR isn't in operation. A
magical moment in the living room spoiled by a marginal offside
call. This coming from an Evertonian who should of had 3
penalties awarded against them. Ahhh VAR!

In the "good ol days" there's no way a penalty would be given
for that handball.

You must be unfamiliar with my posts 😀
There’s 2 reasons you probably don’t realise it as much
1. Less media attention
2. People complain the same but accept the ref only has 1 look

A friend has written this "The FA Cup was robbed of one of its
greatest moments by less that a blade of grass. VAR stripped 99%
of the footballing world of a moment of euphoric joy "
By all means have your calibrations, which I'm not sure are
entirely accurate anyway and sacrifice everything at the altar
of spurious accuracy, but I for one am losing interest rapidly.
So we have another Manchester Cup Final. Who will win ? I know
not and care less; I am in two minds whether to watch it, a
sentiment unthinkable for me to utter some years ago.

I'm assuming Guardiola will want the cup final moved to
Manchester so his pampered players don't have to suffer another
trip to London. Could the FA also check with him if 6 days will
be enough time after their final league game to prepare.[emoji1]

While sympathising with Whistleblower, a Manchester derby is
always a good bit of fun if only to laugh at United's problems
although I am not a great fan of City - note outstanding FFP
rule breach allegations! Actually I find many Premiership
matches uninteresting, the haves against the have nots, the
haves who want more at the expense of the have nots and the
usual front runners near the top. Aston Villa deserve credit -
and I say that as a Wolves fan who hopefully recognises
achievement.

This has mostly come from Twitter but why are people angry about
VAR doing its job? You can’t allow a goal to be offside just
because the underdog then wins 4-3!
Ludicrous some people . It was offside end of argument !
