My honest opinion on the 3 penalty claims is that 1 of them was
a blatant penalty (Young's second tackle). The other two I think
are subjective and it is perfectly acceptable for them to be
deemed as justifiable "no penalty" decisions.Taylor genuinely
thought that Young got the ball, that is clear to see. VAR
failed to intervene and the bulk of the blame should lie with
       Attwell for this.
On the subject of the FA Cup final appointment, it will not do
the FA or PGMOL's credibility any good if they appoint Attwell
to the final. That being said, I don't know of any referee who
has had a completely squeaky clean season. I however can already
picture the sensationalist headline in the DM from Clattenburg
if Attwell or even Simon Long (the AVAR) are appointed. Mr
Clattenburg is seriously burning his bridges with the refereeing
fraternity should he wish to lead PGMOL in the future. His
comments and swipe at Howard Webb in his latest collum suggest
he may well wish to do so.

Mark Clattenburg was such a talented referee, one of the best in
recent decades. What a shame he is using his profile in this
way, allowing himself to be used as a cheap tool by a club to
attack his former colleagues integrity. His column does little
to pour oil on the troubled waters caused by the disgraceful
tweet earlier, if anything it furthers the shambolic attitude
       adopted today by Nottingham Forest.
I think this is a very sad day for English refereeing. I think
it is a new low. I know who I think showed a lack of integrity
today and it wasn’t Anthony Taylor or Stuart Attwell.
I truly despair to think where all of this is going.

Very disappointed at Mark Clattenburg's remarks. I don't think
he could be a realistic prospect for heading PGMOL after them
and his employment at Forest is tarnishing his reputation.

I always respected Clattenburg as a ref, but he has tarnished
his own legacy with this as far as I’m concerned. It seems he is
going down the graham poll route of sniping at his own former
       colleagues from the sidelines.

Yeah he lost all respect and dignity for me when he released
that book without prior warning to those he shamed in it

I hope those three pieces of silver are worth it Mark! We don’t
       need another Poll or Hackett.
Lesson one of officiating in any sport - back your colleagues.
Don’t go and openly slag them off, even more so in the media and
       public domain. Sad really.

Clattenburg amply demonstrates why he could not lead PGMOL. No I
       in team.

I seem to remember Nottingham Forest winning a play off final
off the back of refereeing where all of the 50/50 KMI’s went in
their favour? Did Huddersfield claim the West Yorkshire referee
that day was biased or did they get on with life like adults?

Clattenburg should stick to prancing around that indoor gym on
       TV
