Bournemouth v Man Utd - T Harrington

Having a bit of a mare with his comms kit, was a delay in
restarting after the goal as he couldnt hear VAR then 5 mins
later when ball went out had to go off and get his comms changed
by the looks of it.
I know technology is falible but you would think this would be
regularly tested.
Wonder if the ARs and 40 (Scott) could hesr him ok

When he took off his blue shirt I was wondering if he was going
to put on a yellow one for a minute!

Easy game to referee so far.
Agree a harsh penalty for me, the one United didn’t get at spurs
earlier in the season was more blatant than that. But never
going to be overturned

Seems to have given all the smaller, 50-50s to the Cherries,
debatably, only to give the softest penalty award of the season
to United. What on earth was Smith supposed to do with his arm
there!? Embarrassing decision from someone who clearly hasn’t
played the game.
The Wan Bissaka shirt pull against him was one of the worst
decisions I can remember seeing … until the penalty…

Harsh pen but not clear and obvious error

2 or 3 bookings for dissent for Bournemouth players here, but
their frustration is correct. Terrible Harrington performance
here, so inconsistent and unfair on the Cherries.
Not advocating chasing a referee around, but can fully
understand why they’re upset.

Lost a bit of control towards the end with a few messy cards for
dissent.
Surprised Adam Smith wasn’t carded for booting the ball away
after it ran out of play.
Given Harrington is probably still working his way back into the
fold following a lengthy absence, we can probably give him a bit
of slack.
Some good calls as well, but the penalty is an “umpires call”
scenario, won’t be overturned or reversed by VAR.
Good intervention by VAR to reverse the penalty call for a foul.
Very difficult for Harrington to judge that accurately given the
speed and players around Christie.
