Great work at the end in not falling for that abysmal attempt at
diving by Saka.

Magnificent all night from Nyberg. Superb game management.
Early booking for Bayern defender Davies set the tone. Bayern
penalty called on pitch, spot on. Kane yellow just about right
as wasn’t a lot in it despite the naughty look round before
perhaps.
Havertz dive embarrassing near the end, actually should have
been booked it was that bad.
Then at the death, Saka with an appalling act of self sabotage,
an open goal and instead feigns injury. Shoves his right leg
out and boots Neuer on the leg.
Kudos though to the referee here for not falling for it. Saka
will try it again and again, referees must be this strong! As
for the fake hobbling at the end, did he suddenly forget it when
he started harassing the referee? How bizarre!!

Makes me sad as an arsenal fan watching Saka do that at the end
as he is a great player, and had a great chance to score.
Thought Nyberg was very good and consistent throughout. He
certainly looks like a top ref in the making.

Of course because Saka is English he isn’t called out for
blatant simulation. Neuer stopped, he’s allowed to hold his
ground, he isn’t obliged to move out of the way and Saka
initiated the contact in an attempt to deceive the referee.

Was watching the other game (superb performance by the
officials!) but saw the Saka clip and it is never a penalty, so
a great decision not to fall for the blatant attempt at Diving.

I think he has quite evidently been called out for it.

Thought the yellow early on for Davies? Was harsh but from then
on was a masterclass with an outstanding decision at the end
under pressure.
Wasn’t impressed when I saw him in a group stage game earlier in
the season but was excellent tonight

On here perhaps but the “experts” on TNT Sports are falling over
themselves with faux outrage. Their inane, uninformed and biased
rambling does nothing to improve the standing of match
officials.

Is that the same Saka who missed the recent England games
through “injury” but made a miraculous recovery for Arsenals
game v Man City? If so tonight was clearly not his first case of
simulation

Did anyone see the incident Tuchel is referring to here?
Gabriel picked up a goal kick after the Ref had blown the
whistle.
According to Tuchel the Ref said it was a childish mistake and
won't give such a penalty in the CL quarter final.
